The NetScaler Gateway plug-in icon normally resides in the Windows system tray or the Mac OS X Finders menu bar.

This icon is the interface into the plug-ins settings and controls.

For Windows users, when Citrix Receiver and the NetScaler Gateway plug-in are integrated, the About dialog in Citrix Receiver displays the controls for the NetScaler Gateway plug-in.

For Mac OS X users, there are no controls for the NetScaler Gateway plug-in available after integration.

To do so, use the following CLI command or NetScaler configuration utility task to toggle the icon integration for VPN clients.

Note that a USB device passed into a Citrix application will disappear from use on your computer - it shows up for use in one place or the other - but not both at the same time.

Note that additional devices can show up here that arent your USB thumb drive so be careful what you choose.

Youll see from the screenshot that there are a couple of other devices listed - these are usually audiovideocameras etc.

Normally the name of the device in this list will mention the brand, and in most cases will mention USB andor Flash drive - this is the device you want to select.

If you have more than one USB device, each supported device will show in this list.

If you connect the device while you have Citrix MS Word open, if you switch to Citrix MS Excel you will see the same device.

Citrix apps that are launched after the device is connected to the session will also see it and be able to opensave to it.

To remove the USB device again from Citrix, simply follow the same steps as above and select it again.

The tick will be removed and the device will be passed back to your computer again.
